Our Expertise
At Xcel Advisors & Tutors, our expertise is in working with students in academics, standardized testing, and applications and essays. Among our strengths are the SAT & ACT, the LSAT, GRE & GMAT, and all four sections of the MCAT. Our academic tutors work with students in subjects as diverse as literature and writing, art history, chemistry & physics, and economics. Our applications team partners with students and families to build strategies and windows into students’ inner lives.
It is our mission to support our students so that they maximize their options for college and graduate school choices. Our students’ successes and school choices are as varied as they are themselves, and include MIT for Engineering, NYU Tisch for Screenwriting, Pitzer for History, UPenn for Physics, Vanderbilt Law, and Columbia Medical School.
